Kenny Groupies

The Watson girls are BIG fans of Kenny Chesney (I had to post the pics again from the concert this summer where my sister and I met the cutie). Tonight we saw the Kenny Chesney Summer in 3D movie. We even had to wear the 3D glasses, and it was like we could have reached out and touched him! And even though it is April, it felt like we were at a concert in July. Christine-we missed you and wish you could have been there with us!!! Don't worry, we are going to get the DVD as soon as it comes out so you can see it. And yes, mom cried during "There Goes My Life" (as usual). Wish we could see him again this summer!!!

Patio Set

Our new patio set arrived and Edward had the "honor" of putting it together today...and what a good job he did assembling it! We can't wait to have dinners outside now! It was ridiculous how much packaging was wasted to ship this thing. As you can see, our backyard was covered in cardboard boxes and scraps of plastic and styrofoam. And yes, that is my husband sporting socks and sandals...

Boots

Dear Christine,
Thank you so much for my gardening boots. They got their first use in the yard today and will have many more days of work ahead. I love them (even if they don't make the best fashion statement)!!!

Love,
Amanda

Tulips, Tulips and More Tulips

I posted a few weeks back about the green stems that were sprouting along the side of our house and how we were waiting to see what would appear. Well... we now have tons of colorful tulips lining our driveway - purple, pink, yellow, red and white. They make me smile.

Jersey Boys

It was ladies night out on Thursday! We had dinner at the 31 Club and tickets to see Jersey Boys at Shea's. The tickets were a Christmas present from my mom. The show was fantastic and my sister Molly and I are still laughing at my mom and her friends bopping around in their seats and singing the entire walk back to the car. It was obviously their favorite show of the season!

Who knew

Chuck E Cheese opened at 9am on a Sunday!?! Yikes!!! We had a busy weekend filled with a baby shower, wedding and playtime with the my sister and the kids.

Blooming Blossoms

Some of the lovely spring flowers popping up around our yard!!! They make for the perfect free-bouquets inside the house!!!

Honeymoon

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon in Antigua!!!
After a very early morning of flying we finally arrived!!!

Honeymoon suite.
Edward read an 800 page book on the history of basketball...what a sports geek!

Dickenson Bay, Antigua...what a gorgeous beach.

My new shell engagement ring that one of the "locals" made me....we became friends with him during our stay on the beach.
Heading to the Caribbean beach party.
Checking out the awesome stars.
Our "pool spot." Edward woke up early every morning to save our prime location for us.
Even in the rain I wasn't moving from my hut on the beach.
I know we look like dorks with our beach hats on, but hey - that sun was powerful!
Look at this turquoise water!!!

Swim up bar=lots of frozen concoctions. It is the only time it is acceptable for a guy to be seen ordering and drinking a pink cocktail (which my husband took full advantage of). Edward's drink of choice was the banana sip sop (yes, it was pink) while I preferred the lime daiquiri.
"Pool Special"
"Last Supper" on the beach.
Saying goodbye to the island.
Sadly waiting for our shuttle to the airport.
