Memorial Day Desserts

Root beer floats and the good ol' flag cake were enjoyed by the family in Canandaigua. Only this family has it's first dessert at 3:00 and then the second one after dinner. It was great to spend the day with all of you!

Why???

Dear Fire Station,
Why must you blare your air siren when there is a fire call during the night or early morning? Saturday is our day to sleep in and today you had to sound it three (long) times at 6:30 in the morning. You wake us up and then we can't fall back to sleep. THAT'S TWICE THIS WEEK!!! I know you have to get to the emergencies, but must you let the entire village know? As you can see, our house is very close to you. Please consider shutting off your siren during the hours of 12-7 am. We would really appreciate it.

Thank You,
Amanda & Edward

*This is the one downfall of living in our village. When we bought our house, we were not aware of the siren that goes off in our backyard.

Mothers

Yes, these two mothers belong to Edward and I!!! Perhaps their children drive them to drink...hehe!?! We are so lucky to have such great mothers. Sorry we weren't able to see you today, but it was great talking to you both on the phone during our long road trip home.

Happy Mother's Day to ALL the moms we know, especially the ones celebrating their first. I hope you all had a fantastic day!

Boston Wedding

We traveled to Boston this weekend for Andy and Shana's Wedding. We celebrated their special occasion at this stunning seaside property, Castle Hill.
For some reason all my pictures from the ceremony turned out blurry...ugh.
Andy cutting a rug. No surprise there.

The Willie South Boys...
...and their lucky ladies.
