Happy Halloween...Roarrrrrr

We had a lion on the lose this Halloween!  Henry wore cousin Carter's lion costume from when he was little.  We had practiced saying "chick a cheat" all week. As he waited for daddy to come home for trick-or-treating he was eyeballing the buckets of candy I had prepared and didn't understand why he couldn't mouw down all the candy...
He was a little shy at the first house, but after he realized that the people were putting treats in his pumpkin he was saying "more treats" after we went to each house.  He loved all the Halloween actiona on the porch when we came back to hand out candy to the million trick-or-treaters that came to our house.

Pumpkins

We painted and carved pumpkins durning the week to get in the Halloween mood.  Henry loved picking the colors to paint his pumpkin.  He also picked what shapes he wanted Daddy to carve the pumpkin face with.  Too bad I forgot to take a picture of the finished product.  It had one triangle eye, one square eye, a circle nose and a big smile!

Kelkenberg Farm

We had SO MUCH FUN at Kelkenberg Farm over Columbus Day Weekend.  The grammies, moms and kiddos spent the morning looking at the animals, going on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, picking out the "perfect" pumpkin, riding the ponies and devouring some farm made treats.  Carter was the dog whisperer with the old dog at the farm, Lilah loved the pony rides and Henry was excited about everything!  What a great place to take the kids to enjoy some fall festivities.  We ended up with so many good photos of all the fun!
