#13 The Farewell Season
This year kicked off the 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. I started watching Oprah back when my mother would have her show on the little television in our kitchen while she ironed or started dinner and I would sit at the kitchen table watching it with her. This year's episodes have been filled with fun, laughter, love and tears. I love watching what this last season has to offer guest-, topic- and giving-wise.

#12 Valentines
Even as an adult, getting valentines still makes me smile.

#11 Breakfast for Dinner
I don't know what it is, but for some reason I love making breakfast for dinner. No matter if it's pancakes, french toast or waffles, I heart the carb and syrup intake.

#10 Hall Tree
I've been searching for a bench for our mud room for the last six months. I found many that I liked, but they were either too big for our space (blocking our doorway) or too expensive ($$$). There were a few qualities I was looking for: 1) a dark, colored wood 2) hooks to hang coats on and 3) some sort of storage space. Edward spotted this one at Pier One Imports while we were out doing some holiday shopping a few months ago. It was not the time to be making a big purchase for ourselves, so we've been saving our monies and went last week to finally get it. I had a mini panic attack because when we got the store they did not have it out on the floor. Edward asked the clerk and she said one was actually coming in a few days so we could pay for it now and come back to pick it up. It actually ended up working out better because we would have normally had to buy the floor model and now we were getting a brand new one! Edward also mentioned that now we wouldn't have one that had "God knows how many butts on it." Gross to think about, right!?! Edward put the thing together and now it resides in our mud room. It looks great and will look even better come this spring when we actually put a floor in the room and paint the walls. So far...I love everything about it!

#8 Chamois
For Christmas, my sister got me the Chamois fitted sheet and pillowcases from Pottery Barn Kids. Yes, that's right - technically these are kids sheets, but they're available for a queen sized bed (and come on, how many kids do you know that have queen size beds???). You see, my niece Lilah got a set of these when she got her big girl bed and the first time I felt them, I immediately wanted my own. They are the softest sheets ever, made out of a minky fabric. As an added bonus, the Chamois is much warmer to slide into in the winter than regular sheets, meaning you don't get that cold shock when you first get into bed. I love how soft and oh-so-snuggly they are... I could stay in bed all day!
I see another set of these in my future:)

#7 Super Bowl Commercial BINGO
This was the new addition to our Super Bowl games that we play at my in-laws' house during the game. My mother-in-law is very clever with the games that we play. One of them was "guess the time the Black Eyed Peas will start their halftime performance." My mom won that one with 8:12 PM. I love that these games make watching the Super bowl that much more entertaining for all of us girls.

#6 Snow Creations
So this is the largest snowman I have ever seen! Edward passes it getting on the highway to and from work everyday. He had been talking about it for a few weeks now, but I had no idea it was this ginormous! I love that it's nose is made out of an orange traffic cone.

#5 Mumford and Sons
They are an English folk rock band. Edward downloaded their album on iTunes around Christmas time and I certainly love all of their songs. As I type this post they are playing on our iPod.

#4 Cones
They're back!!! February 4th marked the seasonal opening day for Kone King in our village. I love their soft serve ice cream...best in the area. Yes, it was 20 degrees out and Edward and I went out for ice cream (I stayed in the warm car while he waited in line for 15 minutes! I didn't think that many others would be as excited for this day as I was...check out that long line) Sorry for those of you who have to wait until March 1st for their West Seneca location to reopen.

Today was my fourth snow day this year! Woot woot! I love that I don't have to get out of my pajamas or leave the house.
