#5 Pink Carnations (on our table)
How simple you are. Remember the "Sex and The City" episode where Charlotte declares them to be filler flowers, while Carrie finds them endearing? I love when Berger shows up at her door holding a huge bouquet of pink carnations and declares, "I hear they're making a comeback!"
Amanda, I also love the pink carnations almost as much as pink tulips---or any pink flowers the more I think about it. Carnations are not filler flowers. They stand up beautifully all on their own. In the 70"s they were dyed to match the bridesmaid dresses for weddings. Mine were blue. Now that is sad! Blue flowers!!
