Yes! We are saying goodbye to the wallpaper. (Note to self: Don't EVER put wallpaper up...EVER!) Edward began the slow and tedious process of taking down the wallpaper in the bedroom this weekend. After a quick lesson from my dad he spent a few hours on Saturday and Sunday working on it. Score the walls, put a solution on a section, wait 15 minutes, peel and scrape pieces of wallpaper off. Repeat. He got as far as getting the border down from the entire room, which was double duty work because it was put over a layer of wallpaper. We've been lucky so far...no other wallpaper underneath (we were crossing our fingers with this one) and the walls look like they're in pretty good shape. Hopefully Edward will be done taking it down by next weekend. He plans to work on it a little bit each night this week.
