It only rained one day on our vacation. It started drizzling in the morning so we decided to hit up the outlet mall not too far from us, hoping it would clear up by the afternoon so we could still get some time on the beach. By the afternoon the drizzle turned into a torrential down pour and it was like a monsoon out! Flood warnings were flashing across the television, our parking lot was flooded and we were stuck inside. We made the most of it, though, and just relaxed and played in the condo. By dinnertime the rain let up and all of a sudden the sun was peeking out. We hurried and got our shoes on to get out on the beach so Henry could run around and get his wiggles out since he had been cooped up all day. Every other family in the condo complex had the same idea (and had cabin fever), because there we all were on the beach at 7pm, little ones running around. Even though the day was a wash and the bonfire on the beach was cancelled, we did get a little playtime in the sand and saw a rainbow!
